A native Phoenician, I am married to Jaye Brown with two boys, two girls and 4 grandchildren. I am a businessman that has owned several businesses over the last 22 years. I currently own Velt’s Personalized Car Care and 1st Choice Polygraph Service. I have a great heart for the Lord and have been an active member in the church where I served as the Armor Bearer under two different Pastors, served two terms on the advisory board and served on the usher board and as a greeter. I have headed up several committees and started up the October Fest at our church, which was a free festival to the community to give them an alternative to trick or treating.

I have a passion for working with our youth.  I have coached various sports for over 30 years, a love that started when I was a student athlete at Eastern Washington University, where I played basketball. I have coached at several levels from 3rd grade to High School.

I am an avid motorcyclist that enjoys long rides and the camaraderie of the motorcycle family. After taking a trip to Sturgis South Dakota and several trips to El Paso, my passion for long road trips increased. It is one of my personal goals to ride my motorcycle to all 49 states and rent a bike to ride in Hawaii.

Been riding on and off-road over 30-years (anybody familiar with the Pine Barrens in South Jersey?)

I enjoy time with Family, from immediate Family to my riding Family and those that you meet all along the way. It doesn’t matter what you ride as long as you can keep up.  The idea is to maintain your friendships and your self-respect across all lines.

I have enjoyed supporting various charitable organizations throughout my working career as well as being able to enjoy the Buffalo Troopers since moving to Arizona.

When not on the road or riding with the Buffalo Troopers,  I spend a lot of time helping kids who are in junior and senior high school become aware of the scholarship opportunities that are available to them and helping them to understand what is required of them to be eligible to receive those scholarships.
